Akiko Iwabuchi is Ass. Professor of Sociology of Aging, Care and Welfare at Otemon University in Ibaraki City. Her research interests include the attitudes and values that people exhibit in aging society. She also seeks practical ways to improve civic community activities for a better life for elders, especially for dementia patients and their families.
