The work of the Literaturbuero NRW focuses on the mediation of literature – with traditional and experimental means. One focus is on readings with national and international writers, where the audience is offered the opportunity to meet authors in person, or – in the case of reading series – to learn about thematic contexts. In doing so, the Literature Office also tries to bring literature into a dialogue with the other arts, such as the visual arts or music.
